A fresh and flavorful easy homemade hummus dip!
- 1 (15 oz) can chickpeas, drained and rinsed with liquid reserved
- 1 cup sweet green peas
- 1/2 cup tahini
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh mint, or more if desired
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Add all ingredients to a food processor or blender and turn on. Slowly pour in the reserved chickpea juice (or water) until desired consistency is reached.
