Sesame Crunch Salad with Rice and Tofu

Description

This Sesame Crunch Salad is easy to make and has the perfect blend of veggies, protein, and flavor!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bag Trader Joe’s Sesame Crunch Salad Mix
  • 1 block Trader Joe’s super firm high protein tofu
  • 1 bottle Trader Joe’s Soyaki sauce
  • 1 bag Trader Joe’s organic jasmine rice, or you can use the brown rice
  • 1 bag fresh cilantro

Instructions

  1. Take one bag of rice out of the box and microwave it for 3 minutes.  Cut the top off and let it cool.
  2. Pat tofu dry and dice it into cubes.  Heat a large pan over medium heat and add about 1 teaspoon olive oil.  Add the tofu and let cook for a few minutes until starting to brown.  Pour in the soyaki sauce, you want enough to entirely coat the tofu, and mix together.  Let cook another 5 minutes or so, stirring occasionally.
  3. Pour the salad mix into a large bowl and then add the dressing.  Stir and then add the rice and cooked tofu.  Stir again until everything is combined and then top with a handful of chopped cilantro and the sesame seed and nori flake packet.  Mix until combined and enjoy!
