This really is The Best Easy Guacamole Recipe! You only need 5 ingredients and it’s so flavorful but let’s the avocado shine! Use as a dip or add to salads and sandwiches!
I once read a post by another blogger basically saying that you should never add any fillers like tomato or onion to your guacamole. At the time it really annoyed me and I may have even stopped reading her blog after that haha. She was a little pushy about it and I love adding tons of veggies to my guacamole!
I have a Fajita Guacamole recipe and a Loaded Guacamole recipe on here that I just love. But, I think it’s also important to have a simple guacamole recipe in your back pocket.
When you have a delicious and simple guacamole recipe you can just let the avocado shine. All you need are some good ripe avocados, a little acidity and some spices. I garnished mine with some fresh cilantro because I just can’t take a photo without some kind of garnish on top haha 🙂
While I love just dipping chips into guacamole there are so many other ways you can enjoy it:
- Burrito Bowls
- Tacos
- Salads
- Wraps
- Sandwiches
- Pasta
- Buddha Bowls
The trick to the best guacamole recipe is finding the perfect avocados! I don’t know about you but I get so annoyed when I go to the store to specifically buy avocados and I can’t find a single one that is perfectly ripe. They’re either rock hard or so over ripe that they’re not firm at all.
I like to find an avocado that has a small amount of give when you press on it but is still mostly firm. The worst thing is opening up that avocado and seeing lots of brown spots.
I know that calling this recipe The Best Easy Guacamole Recipe might sound a little loaded but this guacamole really is so good! It’s my go-to recipe that I make for parties and potlucks and I always get lots of compliments on it. It’s so easy to make and I hope you enjoy too!
